Just back from a 3 day stay with friends and our 3 horses.

We have truly discovered a gem here; fantastic b&b for horses and riders!! The hospitality is second to none with friendly and professional staff who clearly love their jobs and love horses. My mare can be a little stressy when away from home but was immediately at home in the warm atmosphere - they know when they are around good people!

Being able to spend 3 whole days with Denise was a real treat; an extremely talented trainer who has an amazing ability to tailor her training to the individual needs of each horse and rider. I can't recommend Denise and this equestrian facility highly enough. Planning our next trip.... :-)

Marie Hanlon, Notts

As a professional show jumping rider, I find Denise's eye for detail , especially regarding my biomechanics really gives me the edge when producing the horses to be the best they can be.

Steph Platts, Derbyshire

If you want to give your dressage training a boost this is the place to go.

Denise and her team are really professional and look after both you and your horse to a very high standard. The biomechanics training combined with learning theory helps you get the most out of your sessions.

I particularly enjoy the dismounted classes which help with applying theory to practice.

An excellent training centre with a focus making clients feel valued.

Carol Green, West Mids

I have had riding lessons at The Dressage Secret for a couple of years now and can't stop coming back for more!

I cannot fault the school horses who all have saintly patience, remarkable dressage skills and the ability to provide confidence to all levels of riders. Every lesson offers me the opportunity to learn something new and I am always excitedly anticipating my return to do it all over again.

Denise and Nikki are to be commended on their compassionate coaching skills, impressive knowledge and pure love they have for their horses.

I highly recommend their instructive and affordable lessons for riders of all ages and experiences.

If you want to step change your training up several gears go to the amazing and talented coach Denise O'Reilly at the lovely new location of TDS at Church Farm, Tong.

I had two lessons with Denise this week and am delighted by the improvement in my young dressage horse who grew in confidence and performance in just two sessions.

Denise has a real talent for finding the key piece to work on to improve, challenging both me and my horse but giving us both total confidence that we can achieve it - and we invariably do! The new centre at Church Farm is relaxed and professional set in gorgeous Shropshire countryside with excellent hacking (to be sampled another time) and really easy access from M54. The outdoor school has a superb new surface to ride on and I'm sure the indoor will be equally good once Covid allows lessons in there!

We've come away with confidence, homework to focus on and full of excitement about future training and competitions - I'm looking forward to more lessons as well as clinics and training camps this summer!

An enormous thank you to Denise and her friendly team at TDS

George Walker, Worcestershire

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for yesterday. It was a great day. It was a big success for me. It's boosted my confidence massively, I've had quite a few downs to say the least. I feel like yesterday has helped me turn that corner. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and everything was so organised and smooth. Massive thankyou!

My 8 year old daughter started at TDS in March this year on Secret. She always had a leader before joining TDS but that changed quickly and she was cantering on her 4th lesson. She is now jumping on Secret.

My older daughter, 15 started jumping lessons in October on Jet and is doing really well.

Even my husband and myself have started riding after 20 years out of the saddle.

The instructors are brilliant and the horses are fabulous, my favourite is Jet (looks after me).

I would definitely recommend this riding school

Gorgeous happy ponios who are a pleasure to learn on.

Boots and Florence being my absolute favourites. Intermediate level and schooled to perfection. A joy to learn on.

Florence

Florence is a dressage school mistress who works at elementary/medium level. She is an older lady, but doesn't feel it and loves to show off her lateral work. She is schooled  by our head coach Denise and loves escorting hacks out and showing the younger horses the ropes.

Kia

Kia is  an KWPN (Warmblood) who has had a previous career show jumping. She is a big moving athletic horse, with an established flying change, and is suitable for the more experienced rider. Kia loves to be the centre of attention.

Quabri.jpg

Quabri

Quabri is our wonderful, medium level school master. He is a handsome horse with a genuine character. Quabri is not only a touch button ride, he is also very generous in his work. Although he really enjoys his work in the school, you will also see Quabri out doing lots of hacking as he is a saint to hack and really loves to go out on adventure

Chardonnay is truly beautiful little horse inside and out. Well schooled with a lovely canter.  She will look after the more novice riders, but she is also a nice, responsive ride up to Elementary level.

Panda

Despite being the resident escape artist, he is still the staff favourite. Panda is quiet enough to teach beginners, but is forward enough for the more experienced child. He has a real flair for his flatwork.

Denzil

Denzil is a firm favourite with our younger riders. He is  perfect for younger children to learn on, and we all love his cheeky personality.

Milo

Milo is one of the kindest ponies you could meet, and truly one of the best ponies for a child to learn with. Milo is a true allrounder and loves to jump and hack, as well as competing in our regular dressage competitions, where his consistent way of going is a firm favourite with the judges.

Secret

Secret is an expert at teaching children to ride. She is truly one in a million. Not only is Secret fabulous with the beginner children, she loves to jump and really lights up when popping a fence.
