TDS Young Riders Christmas Show

A Christmas show open to all TDS junior riders 8yrs-16yrs.

11am- 3pm. £50 - YRC Members £60- non members See bottom for important info...

Schedule: 11am- Groom and prepare your ponies for the show. This may include bathing, plaiting and dressing up.

12.30pm Class 1- Equitation class: Ridden Show off your riding skills round a small obstacle course. The judge will be looking for the most accurate round, with bonus points to the most harmonious partnership.

1pm Class 2-Best Turned out: Ridden How well can you present your pony? From Plaits to sparkly feathers. The judge will be looking for not only the cleanest combinations but also their attention to detail, from sparky tack to neat plaits.

1.30pm Class 3-Mini Freestyle Dressage to music: Ridden. Create you very own dressage test and ride it too your favourite music. This will need some serious preparation but will be lots of fun. Each rider will have a time slot of just 3 minutes to perform their test in the indoor arena after a brief warm up in the outdoor.

2pm Class 4-Best riding pony. Ride as a group and perform a short show including a small jump. Showcasing your ponies’ talents. The judge will be looking for a well-behaved pony suited to their rider.

2.30pm Class 4- Christmas themed Fancy Dress. Either in hand or ridden. Get creative will your outfits. 

*Each child can choose two classes to take part in. *Please list class choices and 3 pony choices on booking. We will do our best to allocate riders to their favourite pony however we will have to take into consideration rider ability and size ect.
