About the event
Come and enjoy an exciting 3 days here at TDS with either your own horse or your favourite TDS ponies! This will include a jumping and dressage competition, as well as some fun mounted and unmounted games, prizes and much more! Each day will start 9am and finish at 4.30pm and bring a packed lunch for each day.
Day 1: 9am - Arrive + meet and greet 9:30 - Groom and tack up 10.15am - Group 1 Ride (flatwork), Group 2 Theory and Practical (Groundwork/Getting to know your horse/pony) 11.15am - Group 2 Ride (flatwork), Group 1 Theory and Practical (Groundwork/Getting to know your horse/pony) 12.15 - Skip out, hay, water and lunch 1pm - Jump theory and building grids 2pm - Group 1 Ride (gridwork), Group 2 Building a jump course 2.45pm - Group 2 Ride (gridwork), Group 1 Building a jump course 3.30pm - Get ponies ready for the night 4pm - End of day quiz!
Day 2: 9am - Arrive and stable duties 9.30am - Mounted and unmounted games 11am - Bath ponies and tack clean 12.30 - Skip out, hay, water and lunch 1pm - Finish prep for best turned out 1.30pm - Mounted best turned out competition 2pm - 3.30pm - Jumping competition. Warm up in outdoor followed by 3 rounds each (allocated times will be set) 3.30pm - Get ponies ready for the night 4pm - End of day quiz!
Day 3: 9am - Arrive and stable duties 10.15am - Group 1 Ride (dressage practice), Group 2 Plait and clean ponies 11am - Group 2 Ride (dressage practice), Group 2 Plait and clean ponies 11.45am - Skip out, hay, water and lunch 1pm - final show prep 2pm - 4pm - Dressage competition (allocated times will be set) 4pm - Prize giving and debrief of TDS Summer Camp 2024
£300 for non-members on a TDS pony. £245 for members on a TDS pony. £245 for non-members on their own pony (inc stabling). £210 for members on their own pony.
